Our April 2022 paper on the possible role of dream-sharing in social evolution and human self-domestication.
We have published a follow-up to our papers on dream-sharing and empathy proposing that in human history and pre-history the sharing of dreams contributed to the social evolution mechanism of human self-domestication. This mechanism has been proposed to lead to reduced emotional rectivity between people, greater empathy, and group bonding.
