Ethics and Permissions In this project we discuss a dream that you chose to share with us. During the discussion you will be asked about details of the dream and any relevant information about your life. if you don’t want to go into some details just say so, you are only being asked to share what you want to. At any point in a discussion you can ask for the discussion to end. No reason needs to be given. While we are discussing it Julia will draw an illustration. This is her interpretation of the dream but we hope that it will be useful to you. After she has completed it you are free to take it home with you, or to leave it with us, or to ask us to throw it away or destroy it.
As our discussions and illustrations can occur in public when the event is a public performance we ask the dreamer for permission to allow an audience to be present. The discussion and illustration can occur without others present if that is the dreamer's wish. If the event is occurring in a gallery with the aim of showing the artworks afterwards, permission is sought also for the public display of each artwork. We also ask permission of the dreamer to show the artwork on social media and on this website. We are very happy for permission not to be granted for any of these components of DreamsID, and any permission given can also be declined later at any point. The Contact Form on the Contact page of this site can be used for this.
Throughout the discussions we follow the ethics guidelines of the British Psychological Society.
